Last verified: 6 August 2026. This page compares ten hair transplant clinics in Turkey using two things you can check yourself in under a minute: their Google rating and their public review count. It does not rank them, and it does not tell you which one is best for you.
Disclosure: who published this page, and why that matters
Istanbul Care is a hair transplant clinic in Istanbul, and Istanbul Care published this page. It is also part of a group that operates other clinics in the same sector — Estemoon in Turkey and Albania Hair Clinic in Albania. Neither appears in the ten below, but you should know the publisher runs more than one clinic before you weigh any comparison it writes. That is a conflict of interest, and pretending otherwise would make everything below less useful to you, not more.
So we have handled it in three ways, all of which you can audit:
- We did not rank anyone. The ten clinics are listed alphabetically. There is no number one on this page, ours or anyone else's.
- We excluded our own profile from the selection. The ten clinics below were chosen by public review volume from a dataset that did not include Istanbul Care. Our own position is stated separately, further down, so you can see it for what it is.
- We only published facts we could check on a specific date. Every rating and review count below was read on 6 August 2026. Where we could not verify something, we say so instead of filling the gap.
You should apply the same scepticism to any “best clinics” list you find. Most are published by a clinic, an agency that earns a commission per referral, or a directory that sells placement. Ask who benefits from the order the names are in.
How this list was built
Data source. Public Google Business Profiles for hair transplant and aesthetic surgery clinics in Istanbul.
Date of measurement. 6 August 2026. Ratings and review counts move; if you are reading this months later, open the Google listing linked in each row and check the current figure.
Selection rule. The ten profiles with the highest public review count. Review volume is a mechanical criterion — it cannot be argued with, and it does not require us to make a judgement about anyone's surgical work. It is a measure of how much activity a clinic has accumulated, not of how good it is.
Order. Alphabetical, deliberately. Sorting by rating would imply a hierarchy the data does not support: nine of the ten sit between 4.5 and 4.9, which is a range narrow enough that the ordering would be noise.
What we did not publish. No prices for other clinics, no graft counts, no success rates, no opinions about anyone's results. We have no way to verify those figures for a clinic we do not operate, and publishing an unverifiable number about a competitor is worse than publishing nothing.
Google's own service categories vary across these profiles — some are registered as hair transplantation clinics, others as plastic surgery clinics, hospitals or medical groups. We have reproduced the profiles as they are rather than reclassifying them.

How to read this table. A rating above 4.5 is the norm in this sector, not a differentiator. What varies more usefully is volume and what the reviews actually say. A clinic holding 4.8 across 4,000 reviews has a record you can read through; one holding 5.0 across 40 does not yet. Neither number tells you who will open your recipient channels, which is the thing that most affects your result.

Istanbul Care: our own position, stated separately
Istanbul Care is a hair transplant clinic in Istanbul. We are not one of the ten profiles above, and we did not place ourselves among them — our own Google Business Profile was deliberately kept out of the dataset used to build that table, because we compiled the table.
What we can state about ourselves, and what you can check on our own site:
- Published package prices: $1,990 for FUE Sapphire, $2,290 for Organic DHI, $2,490 for Gold DHI Ultra. These are published figures, not quotes — what applies to you depends on your graft count and technique. - Our Google rating is not quoted on this page. We wrote the page, so our own number does not belong in a table we assembled. Look it up on Google independently, and read the one-star reviews as well as the five-star ones. That advice applies to every clinic here, including ours.

We are not going to tell you we are the best clinic in Turkey. We do not know that, you cannot verify it, and any page that says it about itself has told you something about its standards rather than its surgery.
Six things you can check about any clinic before booking
These are more useful than any ranking, because they are answerable and because the answers come from the clinic rather than from a list.
- Who opens the recipient channels? Every technique has three stages — extraction, channel opening, placement. The middle stage sets angle, depth, direction and density, which is what makes a hairline look natural at twelve months. In Turkey the incision stage is a physician's responsibility. Ask for the surgeon by name and ask whether they stay for the whole procedure. “Our medical team” is not a name.
- Is the price structure published? A clinic that publishes a per-graft rate or an itemised package can be held to it. One that quotes only after seeing your photos is pricing you rather than the procedure.
- Are there twelve-month photos with graft counts? At three months a transplant is still regrowing; those photos show healing, not outcome. A twelve-month photo without a graft count tells you the hair grew, not what it took. Check that the donor area is visible in both images.
- Where do the reviews live? Google Business Profiles and Trustpilot cannot be edited by the clinic. Testimonials on a clinic's own site are curated by definition — ours included.
- Is the accreditation named and checkable? An accreditation claim should name the issuing body and, ideally, a certificate number. “Internationally accredited” with no body named is not a claim you can check. Surgeon membership of a professional body such as the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery is separately verifiable.
- Is there a consultation before booking? A clinic that assigns a graft count and a price before seeing your scalp is selling a package rather than planning a procedure. Your suitability depends on donor supply, the stability of your loss and any underlying scalp condition — the American Academy of Dermatology sets out the diagnostic ground that should be covered first.
Before you travel: the medical background worth reading
Most hair loss that leads people to a transplant is androgenetic alopecia, which is progressive. That matters for planning, because a transplant redistributes hair rather than stopping the underlying process. MedlinePlus and DermNet both cover the mechanism in plain language, and the NHS hair loss page explains which types of loss respond to which treatments.
On the procedure itself, the ISHRS explanation of FUE and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons overview describe what the operation involves independently of any clinic's marketing. Complication rates are documented in the peer-reviewed literature — see Complications in Hair Transplantation — and a clinic that tells you there are no risks is not describing surgery. Technique comparisons, including sapphire-blade FUE, are also studied directly; one 2026 assessment of sapphire FUE accuracy and treatment times is a reasonable starting point if a clinic is pitching a technique to you as decisive.
Two practical warnings. If a clinic offers exosome injections as an add-on, read the FDA public safety notification on exosome products first. What a hair transplant costs in Turkey
We publish our own prices and nothing else. Istanbul Care packages are $1,990 (FUE Sapphire), $2,290 (Organic DHI) and $2,490 (Gold DHI Ultra).
We are not going to publish price ranges for the other clinics on this page. We cannot verify what any of them currently charges, prices change without notice, and a figure attributed to a competitor without a source is exactly the kind of claim this page exists to discourage. Ask each clinic directly, and ask for the total in writing before you pay a deposit.
Four things drive the number wherever you go. Graft count is the largest — a Norwood 2 hairline and a Norwood 5 crown are not the same operation. Technique is second, since DHI and unshaven approaches are more labour-intensive per graft. Surgeon involvement is the difference that most affects outcome and is least visible in a price list. Session count matters for very large cases, which are safer split in two.
What is usually excluded, and worth confirming in writing: adjunct sessions such as PRP that are proposed after you arrive, the terms under which a revision would be free if density is insufficient at twelve months, return flights, and whether follow-up contact after you go home is chargeable. Twelve questions to ask in your consultation
- Which surgeon will open the recipient channels?
- Will that surgeon be present for the entire procedure?
- How many patients does that surgeon treat on the day I am booked?
- What is my expected graft count, and what is it based on?
- What does my donor area realistically support — now, and in ten years?
- Which technique are you proposing, and why that one for my pattern?
- What is the total price, including everything, in writing?
- What exactly is included in the package?
- What happens if density is insufficient at twelve months?
- What aftercare is provided once I am home?
- Can I see twelve-month photos of a similar pattern and graft count?
- Which accrediting body, and what is the certificate number?
A clinic that answers all twelve specifically has told you a great deal. One that deflects several has also told you something.
How to verify a clinic yourself, in ten minutes
Open the Google listing linked in the table above. Sort the reviews by lowest rating and read the last twelve months of them. You are not looking for the existence of complaints — every clinic at this volume has some — you are looking for recurring themes. Communication after surgery, add-ons introduced on arrival and density at twelve months are the three patterns worth taking seriously if they repeat.
Then check whether the clinic's website names a surgeon, publishes a price, and shows twelve-month results with graft counts. Those three take a minute each and separate more clinics than any rating does.
For context on the sector as a whole, Turkey's health tourism figures are published by the state agency USHAŞ in its health tourism data releases — useful for understanding the scale of the market you are buying into, and independent of any clinic.
What this list does not tell you
It does not tell you which is the best hair transplant clinic in Turkey. That phrase has no single answer — the right clinic depends on your donor supply, your pattern of loss and how much of the surgeon’s own time your case needs. Anyone publishing a definitive answer to it is selling something, ourselves included.
It does not tell you which clinic is best. Review volume measures accumulated activity, not surgical quality, and a rating in the 4.5–4.9 band is close to universal in this sector. It does not tell you who performed any individual procedure, whether the surgeon named on a website operates on the day you are booked, or what any of these clinics charges.
It also does not cover every clinic in Turkey. There are good clinics outside Istanbul and good clinics with fewer reviews than the threshold used here. A clinic's absence from this page is not a judgement about it — it means it did not meet a mechanical cut-off on one date.
Use the six criteria and the twelve questions. They travel with you to any clinic, in any country, and they do not expire when the ratings change.

Transplanted hairs typically shed within the first weeks, with new growth over the following months and the outcome usually assessed at around twelve months. Any gallery that only shows three-month photos is showing you healing.
Is everyone a candidate for a hair transplant?
No. Donor supply, the stability of your hair loss and any underlying scalp condition all affect suitability, and some causes of hair loss are treated medically rather than surgically. A clinic that says yes before examining your scalp has not assessed you.
How do I check a clinic's accreditation?
Ask for the name of the issuing body and the certificate number, then check it with that body directly. A claim of accreditation with no issuer named is not verifiable, and an unverifiable claim should be treated as absent.
